INFOGRAPHIC & ILLUSTRATION

Click on the image to see the infographic I illustrated and created for ATD (The Association for Talent Development, formerly ASTD).  It gives an overview of the science of information processing. It offers simple tips to maximize information encoding and retrieval with brain-friendly training.

I created the poster in Adobe Illustrator.

Project 2

ELEARNING DEMO

This is a short eLearning demo I recently designed and built about new managers in healthcare for Limestone Learning Inc.

I developed and built the user interface, scenarios, and interactions in Composica. I used Powerpoint and Photoshop for image editing and navigation element creation.

Project 3

Graphical User Interface Design Concepts

Here are some design concepts I created in Adobe Illustrator. These concepts were developed for my portfolio project "difficult conversations". I created different samples of design look and feel options that would be refined and edited after further collaboration with the "client".

Project 4

Sample PowerPoint Presentation

This was developed for portfolio purposes. The content was taken from two short articles about brain-based learning. I used the photos from my own personal library and from a free photo stock website.  No templates were used. The simple design aims to support the facilitator. Section markers make it clear and I eliminated reduntant material, avoiding "identical" text. It's  hard to listen to a facilitator and read text simultaneously. This reduces cognitive load, and enhances learning transfer.

Project 6

Adobe Captivate and Creativity

A sample of a drag and drop and user interface that I created in Adobe Captivate. The easel was hand drawn, then photographed and uploaded into Photoshop where I edited it for use in Captivate.

I drew the body of Wall-e and then photographed it and uploaded it into Photoshop. I then cut out and placed, a photograph of Wall-e's eyes that I had made using mixed media for a costume.
